How to report a death to us

We realise this is a difficult time, and we’ll do everything we can to make this process as easy as possible for you. There are three ways to notify us that someone has died:

NotifyNOW

We have partnered with NotifyNOW, a service of Phillips & Cohen Associates (UK) Ltd (our probate and bereavement account specialists), so you can easily report the passing of an account holder, without having to speak to anyone.

Follow the link to use this service.

Email

You can let us know someone has died by sending us an email at contact@lendable.co.uk

Please make sure that you include all of the information listed below.

Telephone

If you want to speak to someone then you can call us on 020 3322 1948.

Our phone lines are open 9am-5pm from Monday to Friday.

Information we need

For us to be able to process the account of the person who has passed away, when you contact us, please let us know the following:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • An address where we can write to you
  • Your relationship to the account holder
  • The Lendable account holder's name, address, date of birth and date of death
  • If known, please also include the account number of the customer

Next steps

Once you’ve provided us with the above information, our specialist team will process the account, stop any unnecessary communications being sent, and begin the process to settle the debt.
